LAHORE:

A division bench of Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday sought investigation record from police on a bail application by Gullu Butt, accused of vandalising several vehicles during clashes in Model Town on June 17.

Butt’s counsel submitted that he was mentally unfit and that police had wrongfully implicated him in the case.

He said initially the FIR against him had been registered under bailable sections of the Pakistan Penal Code but later some sections of the Anti-Terrorism Act and those related to murder had been included under pressure from various quarters.

The lawyer said Butt had vandalised the vehicles in anger after he was attacked by some people.

He said Butt was innocent and should be granted bail.

SO in anger, you are allowed to break cars. Maybe someone should break this lawyer's car in anger and see what the lawyer thinks about it!

Obviously this is a desperate move by PMLN to save their beloved gullu.
