QUETTA:

The tribunal constituted to probe the discovery of mass graves in Khuzdar has handed over its report to the Balochistan government, Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti confirmed on Saturday.

He said a decision on whether the findings will be shared with other government institutions or made public will be taken once the chief minister returns to the country.

The tribunal was set up after 13 bodies were recovered from a mass grave in Khuzdar’s Tutak area. Despite being directed to submit a report in three months, the tribunal was unable to complete its work within the stipulated time and was given a two-month extension.

Only two of the bodies from Tutak could be identified upon recovery. So far, no report on the identities of the remaining bodies has been received from Lahore. It may be mentioned that the DNA test report of the soldier killed in the Sibi Railway Station blast was received within two weeks.

Will Pakistan answer for the over 100,000 Baloch killed or missing?
