Two labourers killed in Lahore gas pipeline explosion

Labourers were digging a hole near an existing pipeline when they mistakenly caused a leak.

LAHORE: Two labourers were laying a gas pipeline extension in Baghbanpura, Lahore when the main tube exploded due to an accidental leakage, killing both of them on the spot, Express News reported on Monday.

According to reports, the labourers were brothers who were digging a hole near an existing pipeline when they mistakenly caused a leak which led to the explosion.

The deceased were identified as Atif and Shehzad.

No post-mortem analysis was carried out and the bodies were released to their family.

Kindly do away with these ghastly graphic images, and the news too, if possible. Give a bad image about the country.
