Are you sure it wasn't a gas cylinder? I've seen many motorcyclists haphazardly carrying small gas cylinders on motorcycle to save fuel costs by running their bikes on CNG, these should be banned as they're extremely dangerous and completely unprotected.
are we still an islamic state?
In this holy month of ramzaan let us forgive our neighbours and follow fasting. Let us also not forget our fellow Muslim brothers in china who have been banned from fasting in their country.
Lives have become cheap and dispensable in Karachi for a while now. No matter who the perpetrators are, and whatever their purpose is, fact remains that innocent bystanders, mostly breadwinners lose their lives in such attacks, destroying entire families and creating widows and orphans. The government is helpless. Main political parties in Karachi, including the MQM, are also helpless in stemming the tide of murder and mayhem. In situation such as this people should not remain silent spectators and should find ways to effectively raise their voice.
Rest in Peace. I was there, in the morn today.
