AIG BDS' driver, police official arrested in Faisalabad for hashish smuggling

They were arrested for trying to smuggle 80kg of hashish from Peshawar to Punjab.

PESHAWAR: Additional Inspector General (AIG) bomb disposal squad (BDS) Shafqat Malik’s driver along with a police official were arrested in Faisalabad for trying to smuggle hashish, Express News reported on Thursday.

The driver, identified as Asif, and the police official were arrested for trying to smuggle 80 kilogrammes of hashish from Peshawar to Punjab.

Further investigations into the incident are underway and the two detainees are being interrogated.
