Budget 2014-15: HEC allocated Rs63b in FY15

A sizeable allocation -- Rs20 billion – has been made for 188 projects of the Higher Education Commission, according to budget documents for fiscal year 2014-15. 

These projects aim to support development plans of various universities around the country.

The HEC has also been allocated a hefty budget of Rs43 billion. Therefore, a total of Rs63 billion will be made for the HEC. Considering the fiscal condition of the country, the total allocation represents a 10% increase approximately.
