Contraband: Drug smuggling bid foiled

During preliminary investigation Nigerian national confesses to presence of 50 heroin-filled capsules in his stomach.

The Anti-Narcotics officials foiled an attempt to smuggle heroin to a foreign country and arrested a Nigerian national at Benazir Bhutto International Airport.


The ANF personnel detained the man, whose identity could not be ascertained at the briefing counter.


During preliminary investigation he confessed to the presence of 50 heroin-filled capsules in his stomach.


Further investigation is under way, said an official.
