ok but wait for Mr. Modi, i am not sure about you sir but surely he will resolve this issue permanently.
@Muslim Leaguer: Were the Balochis let to decide their fate ?
@MAQ: yes. any doubt? refer good sources. not madrasa kitabs.
..kashmir IS india....but keep crying and whining...!!
@Syed Jalal Kashmiri: “Thank you Mian Nawaz Sharif for your heartfelt sentiments. Especially considering you too are of Kashmiri heritage. It fills me with pride that our Kashmiri people have reached such high levels in Pakistan’s government and army. Such a thing is impossible in Indian occupied Kashmir”
Please take the rest of Kashmiris with you (not Kashmir), let me reach high levels in your Govt (??) and army and feel the pride.
As per an article by Prof Yaqoob Khan Bangash of Lahore, the youth of Pakistan is no more emotionally attached to Kashmir! They would rather prefer a good job in India!
@np: Clearly you do not know what happened in 1965 when Pakistan attacked India. You do not know what happened in 1971.
"Nawaz invites India to solve Kashmir dispute" ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ And India snubs NS by not even reacting to his statement.
@Kolachi: "Kashmir is teh unfinished agenda of the partition. Let it be a free entity on the wishes of the Kshmir people."
As far as India is concerned, Kashmir is a finished agenda of a completed partition. But as far as part that is now called Pakistan, even the agenda of partition is not complete. We saw Bangladesh separating. Now we see Baluchistan separating and Mohajirs saying that they want Karachi to separate from Pakistan. Durand line is getting erased. Kashmir Day rallies provide great inspiration and motivation to Baluch, Mohajirs, Hazaras and Pashtuns by reminding them once again of their own situation and the need for a separation.
Time is coming to teach Pakistan another sound lesson. We should name the capital of the new Baloch state as, Akbar Bugti Nagar, Capital of Balochistan.
@Sher-e-Kashmir: ha ha ha. The so called kashmiri fighters who were mainly punjabi pakis were decimated by the might of indian army . Musharaf or no musharaf, indian army is not some kaanch ka force. Some 8000 pakis lie buried in kashmir . Care to join them in their graves.
We believe India will let the people of Kashmir decide their fate,” he added....Why not allow the other part of Kashmir now in Pakistan decide their fate as well. They may want to join India....
India should know that unless it gives the people of Kashmir the right to self determination as it is legally obliged to by the UN, the people of Kashmir, with the support of thier Muslim brothers will TAKE that right by force. In Kashmir India has shamelessly only come to the negotiation tables following sustained operation by the Mujahideen. Before external support was pulled post 911 there were parts of the Kashmir valley Indian security forces could not enter due to mujahideen activities. This is widely reported by India's own media. 911 has come and gone, America has come and gone, the ability of Kashmiri freedom fighters to take on Indian forces will increase again exponentially post US withdrawal from Afghanistan. India should be wise, spare all the bloodshed and give Kashmiris the right to self determination. The same is true for Pakistan.
Will China ever cede Tibet? Will Pakistan ever cede Baluchistan? To expect India to do so is plain naivete! India is a future super power in the making. My advise to Pakistanis would be to accept the status quo, If not, you are doomed to be a third fiddle in South Asia for ever!
We can't expect any fruitful negotiations with India at the moment. India is currently in the ICC mode, They want it all.
@Muslim Leaguer: So?
No India and No Pakistan. Let the people, be it Kashmiri or Balochi or any other ethnic group may decide their own fate. Until both countries won't understand, there will problems between the two and people and the development of these countries will suffer.
Pakistan is loosing the plot completely here. Not just they have lost control of Balochistan and FATA and majority of area on their western border where not just Pakistani but American machines bomb the people of Pakistan but due to their persistent effort to destabilize india by diverting precious resourses they have very much loss control of Lyari in Karachi and many such places in urban settings to armed gangsters. And they are observing a Kashmir Solidarity day lol
@INR: Quick questions: 1-You want to solve "all" issues and then in the same paragraph you say you will never compromise? What have you solved then? 2-Historically do you accept (or not) that Kashmiris in '47 voted to be part of Pakistan ?
@darvesh: Take care of your pant before you leap. You people are the first to run away from eye ball to eye ball encounter
The most intelligent comment and rebuttal !
The UN has failed to hold plebiscite in Kashmir to let the Kashmiris decide themselves about their fate!
@Jat: Who are you to make this decition?Kasmir is not your land nor Kashmiri your people. Kashmir belonge to Kashmiris and the will dicid how to live.
Welcome Mr. Sharif. Kashmir Issue should be solved geographically nor according to the wishes of India and Pakistan. There should be keen participation of Kashmiri people in the dialogue otherwise it will be as usual the political meeting by the selfish people for their personal interests. Because constitutionally, Kashmir neither belongs to India nor Pakistan. Kashmir has its own identity and should be resolved as per the demands and desires of the people of Kashmir.
Rather than it will be a political Joke..
@Jat: "We dont really allow foreigners to dictate our policy; nor do we need a foreign country to teach us on how to take care of our people." Take care of your pant before you leap. You people are the first to run away from eye ball to eye ball encounter.
NS you should make Pakistan economic tiger Kashmir will fall like a ripe fruit on your lappet till then freeze it and forget it.There is less logic and more egos involved in territorial disputes and you know its world of might is right.
Words are meaningless, actions count.
“We believe India will let the people of Kashmir decide their fate,” he added. The resolve of the Indian Government and the capacity of its Armed Forces should never be doubted by Pakistan. Though Pakistan has its own domestic compulsions to keep calling for a plebiscite in J&K, but it is now a well know fact that J&K Issue is closed at all International Forums World-Wide.
India is deeply committed to resolve all issues with Pakistan including that of Jammu and Kashmir, but there has to be a clear understanding of the fact that Jammu, Kashmir and Laddhak is an Integral, Legal, Constitutional & Economically Integrated part of India and there can never ever be a compromise with its territorial integrity with India.
Peace should be restored in the Heart of Pakistan (Kashmir) that's a necessary for the people of State.
"Kashmir is a integral part of India"
Get your house in order first, than worrying about other countries.
...the people get their due rights...
This coming from a country where military dictators have ruled for over 50% period of its extistence. This coming from a country where the people of its largest state, Baluchistan, have been denied even basic rights since independence.
Raja Hari Singh already decided the fate of Kashmiris. But India will be magnanimous enough to permit Kashmiris to migrate to PoK if they so choose.
We dont really allow foreigners to dictate our policy; nor do we need a foreign country to teach us on how to take care of our people. It is particularly laughable when the foreign country giving advise is Pakistan; which regularly bombs its own population with fighter planes and heavy artillery.
No thanks; we have the situation well under control. You worry about Peshawar, Quetta, Karachi and FATA.
