The T20 matches are scheduled to take place on December 8, 11 and 13 - the first of which will be played against Afghanistan and the rest against Sri Lanka.

The squad will consist of Muhammad Hafeez who is also the captain, Ahmad Shahzad, Sharjeel Khan, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Amin, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Zulfiqar Baber, Bilawal Bhatti, Junaid Khan, Sohail Tanvir, Anwar Ali Saeed Ajmal and Harris Sohail.

Misbahul Haq's name was not announced as part of the T20 squad.

The team is scheduled to travel to UAE on December 5.

Saeed Ajmal will not travel with the squad since he is not participating in the December 8 match because of family reasons. He will, however, be part of the matches against Sri Lanka.

it's about time Pakistan selectors and the team started taking cricket a bit serious as you have seen after Imran, wasim, waqar and inzamam, the team has gone downwards. every other cricketing nation has three different teams and 3 different captains which gives everyone a chance to show what they are made of, but Pakistan team same players in every format, we need to look in the future need to bring young blood in with the talent Pakistan have, once again they can rule the cricket world but not with idiots that are sitting in the board room, need honest players who will play for their country and hardworking management.
