Four police personnel were wounded when alleged members of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) attacked the police mobile in Sohrab Goth on Wednesday. When the police reached the TTP’s hideout, the alleged terrorists opened fire and lobbed at least four hand grenades, the police told The Express Tribune.
The additional SHO of Sohrab Goth, sub-inspector Shoaib, and three police personnel were injured in the attack.
Following the attack, a large number of law enforcers conducted a door-to-door search operation.
The police claimed to have caught around 22 suspects along with some weapons in their possession.
