The court has directed District and Sessions Judge Khanewal to probe the matter and submit a detailed report regarding the steps taken by the local police along with his own comments.
According to details, the woman was working in the fields of local landlord Rana Israr with her daughter.
Israr took the woman to his farmhouse by force and attempted to molest her. He chopped off her nose with a knife and fled when she resisted and cried for help.
The woman was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital Khanewal.
According to the news report, the victim said she was poor and was running from pillar to post in search of justice.
Police have registered a case and no arrests have been made so far.

One rape case on daily basis. This might have been happening since long but reported by media only now which is commendable. One each day is reported and we don't know how many go unreported. How will these beasts stop or who will stop them?

Apart from the above news I just want to add that if the Paternity test of many bonded girls in Internal Sindh, South and Central Punjab will took place then it will open another Pandora box that what the landlords and their sons are doing with Bonded labor girls.
