LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge has sought comments from the Model Town SHO by August 5 on a petition filed by a woman seeking a case against six people including her ex-husband for alleged rape, blackmail and other offences.

The petitioner said that she lived with her sister and had hired a woman to work at her house a few months ago. One day, she said, the woman served her a drink mixed with intoxicants, causing her to pass out. She said that while she was unconscious, her ex-husband raped her and his brother took nude pictures of her. They had then used those pictures to blackmail her and she had paid them Rs300,000 and five tolas of gold, she said.

The petitioner said that she had divorced her ex-husband three years ago. She said that he had previously threatened to burn off her face with acid if she did not have sex with his brother.

She asked the court to direct the Model Town SHO to register a case against her ex-husband, his brother, her servant and two others for rape, taking nude pictures of her, blackmail and making death threats.
