Mou with bahria town: PTCL to deploy telecom infrastructure

Bahria Town will provide space for PTCL exchange building, EVO BTS tower.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) and Bahria Town have signed a memorandum of understanding, according to which PTCL will provide information and communication technology (ICT) services and infrastructure in Bahria Enclave, Islamabad. According to a press release, the agreement will enable residents of Bahria Enclave to experience superior telecom services including voice telephony, broadband internet and SmartTV as well as EVO wireless broadband internet services. Speaking on the occasion, PTCL Chief Technical Officer Tariq Salman said, “We are pleased to partner with Bahria Town and look forward to a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship. Over the years, PTCL has made efforts to deploy world-class telecom infrastructure for the development of the country and its economy.” Bahria Town will provide space for PTCL exchange building, EVO BTS tower and indoor spacing for staff along with space for PTCL Customer Support Centre.
