GUJRAT:
Police on Thursday arrested three people, including two college students, and registered a case against 25 people for vandalising six college buses and for a brawl on college premises.
Civil Lines Station House Officer Malik Amir said that an argument between some students of Government Science College and Punjab College started over a bet to approach girls from the other college and seek Valentine dates.
This led to a brawl that went on for more than an hour, he said. Police were then called.
Witness told police that more than 100 students were involved in the brawl. Some students from the Government Science College later threw stones at six Punjab College buses parked in front of the college. Some of them also brought clubs and broke the windscreens of the buses.
A witness said for the first few minutes, the police team that arrived on the scene, stood as spectators. One student noticed them and they dispersed on their own.
Police later arrested two students and another person. Cases were registered against 25 people on the complaint of the Punjab College administration.
The arrested students were identified as Qamar Shehzad and Ahmed Khan.

@Mary D'costa, Goa,India:
why would they waste time rioting if they had girls to date?!
Happy Valentine's Day........
Love conquers, always. Ruttie, a parsi was conquered by a Muslim Quaid by sheer force of love. Hindu Jodhabai and Tarabai couldn't resist the gravitational pull of love of Akbar the great and Aurangzeb Alamgir respectively. We should all keep loving.
V day has no place in Pakistan... because it means vandalism has more chances of being celebrated. Keep the roman practices in rome, dont inherit them. Anyone know the story of St.Valentine? He was hung. Im sure this is how he wants to be remembered
@Asif: All fingers are not equal.
Such is the state of youth in Pakistan and then we ask where are we going wrong!!
This is our future generation that is going to take Pakistan forward, ohh sorry I mean backward.
haha...loosers....instead of dating girls they started riots!!! V day is a day of love, of finding love, of celebrating love.
