Bilal, 13, was arrested wearing a suicide jacket in Khan Lar area along with his accomplice Jahangir on Tuesday. During interrogation, Bilal told the police that his brother, Muqadar, persuaded him to carry out suicide attacks.
A team of police commandos was sent to Bilal’s neighbourhood on Thursday. Police officials surrounded the entire area and arrested Muqadar and three other people from his house. They were then shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. The police did not reveal the names of the other suspects.
ATC dissatisfied with CCPO’s reply
The Peshawar Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) expressed its disappointment on the capital city police officer’s (CCPO) reply over not producing Jahangir in court.
Jahangir, in his early twenties, is accused of facilitating Bilal in a suicide attack attempt.
During the hearings on Wednesday and Thursday, Jahangir was not produced before the ATC.
ATC judge Ibrahim Khan took notice of the absence and served Peshawar CCPO Imtiaz Altaf a show-cause notice asking why Jahangir was not at the hearing.
On Friday, the reply was submitted, but the court was not satisfied with it and sent it to the high court.
Meanwhile, Bilal was sent into custody of a probation officer for rehabilitation at the central prison in Peshawar.

Some people will do any thing for money. Terrorism is all about money.
Don't bring them to the courts. They will release them too.
