According to the prosecution, one Shafiq along with his accomplices Khursheed and Asghar had killed their relative, Raheela Bibi, over a dispute two years ago. An FIR was registered with Saddar police. Shafiq was awarded death sentenced on Wednesday and Khursheed imprisoned for life. Asghar was given benefit of doubt and acquitted. The convicts were also directed to pay Rs200,000 each to the family of the deceased.
