LAHORE: Senior leader Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa and Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif met at the Sharif residence in Raiwind and have reconciled their differences, said PML-N leader Raja Ashfaq Sarwar on Saturday.

He was speaking to the media in Lahore about the meeting that took place between the two leaders today at Raiwind Palace.

Khosa recently resigned from all political offices due to differences with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while his son, Dost Muhammad Khan Khosa, had also tendered his resignation.

Sarwar told the media that the two discussed all misunderstandings, after which Khosa told Nawaz Sharif that he “was a Muslim Leaguer and will always be a Muslim Leaguer”.

He said that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif did not accept Khosa’s resignation from the post of advisor.

Speaking on Dost Muhammad Khosa’s resignation, Sarwar said that since he was Sardar’s son, he was like a brother to them, adding, “Sardar sahib is a much respected person to us, he is our elder,” he said.

Upon being asked why this “elder” was forced to come to Raiwind as opposed to Sharif visiting him at his residence, Sarwar said, “No he was not forced…. He has come of his own free will.”

@Zia UL Haq ka Baab: "There is NOBODY left in the muslim league of our founder Jinnah – they are only mullahs now!" After what is ""Founders" ke aulad" is doing to Karachi, I wish none remain in any party what so ever.
