Leaders who claim to change things in 90 days are liars: Nawaz

MINGORA: Leaders who say they will change the current situation in just 90 days are liars, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday.

Speaking at a rally in Mingora, Swat, Nawaz said the people who make such claims either have no experience in politics nor have any expertise.

“PML-N will change things here and serve the people as it has done in the past,” he stressed.

Criticising the incumbent Pakistan Peoples Party-led government, the PML-N chief said that the people had not voted them into power to create trouble for the country.

“Everyone can see what has happened to Pakistan under their leadership,” he said pointedly.

He also added that despite PPP’s arrogance, their prime minister had to go home in the end.

Defending against accusations levelled against the PML-N of being a friendly opposition to the PPP, Nawaz said his party has only focused on serving the people and ignored allegations.

Addressing youngsters present in the rally, Nawaz said that there are some politicians who are trying to hijack the youth.

“The young people are aware of the fact that who is honest to Pakistan and who will serve the country better,” he said, adding that PML-N during its days in power brought great pride to the green passport.

PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, while speaking to the rally, too criticised Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan without taking his name.

“Those who talk about tsunami all the time are not aware of real politics,” he said, adding that Imran always talk about cricket but he does not know that politics is about serving people and not about ‘bowling politicians out’.

Nisar said that Nawaz is the only leader who does not make hollow statements and honours his promises.

“During Nawaz’s tenure, Pakistan was progressing at a rate faster than any other country in the region,” he reminded the rally.

Excuse us from the real politics, enough of your and PPP politics. From start of PPP-PML Pakistan rupee devalued from 22 per dollar to 96 today. Indian rupee was valued less than Pakistan, now even Bangladesh Taka is better valued than Pakistan Rupee. Enough of your ‘real’ politics. We need fresh and new leader who represent the educated youth not the age old tried and tested thugs!Recommend

It’s never over till you give up… so never give up! You would have heard the quote “Nothing succeeds like success” add “Try…try till you succeed” to this and you have just brewed the perfect formula for unstoppable success.

An outstanding quality of a winner is the power to hold on despite the most adverse circumstances. Sure, you are going to fail a lot. Not every endeavour is going to be successful the first time. Some might take forever to succeed. But the secret is to never give up. A winner is not a person who does not fail but, it is he who rises up every time he fails and tries again.

Don’t ever give up trying. Be stubbornly persistent. Remember that these ceaseless efforts will eventually help you overcome your obstacles. You will need to take pains to be persistent. Every little detail needs to be taken care of. You have to do everything and do it right to reach your goal.

Mr. Sharif, we have tested and tried you & your party so many times but alas you have let us down so no more PML-N, PPP, PML-Q, MQM, ANP. Inshah ALLAH, this time we’ll elect Sir. Imran Khan and I pray to almighty ALLAH (SWT) that HE bless IK with long & healthy life so that he can fulfill my dream and my dream is to see Pakistan as a peaceful and corruption free country, where people treat each other with respect, freedom of religion; in a nutshell I want to see my beloved motherland as envisioned by our Baba-e-Qaum Muhammad Ali Jinnah (may Allah be pleased with him)

Safe pair of hands who have been there and done it and most importantly learned from their mistakes. I am no disillusioned, I see the facts: the motorways, the atomic bombs, the economic miracles, the laptops, the susti roti, the good governance ( Punjab), the list is long… It would take me years to digest a Psunami flood that has not even arrived on a single district or council let alone managing a huge country.. I also remember the slogan: ”Zalimo Qazi aa raha hai” and how much this helped PPP in the 90s, I see the Psunamis to do exactly the same ( get the Zardaris back into power !!!).
