DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Local leaders and workers of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) staged a protest against the Deputy Speaker of National Assembly Faisal Karim Kundi on Sunday.

The protesters had wrapped shrouds around themselves and continued to chant slogans against the PPP leader. Protesters alleged that Kundi as well as his elder brother, Ahmad Kundi, were involved in corruption in the development funds allotted to D I Khan.

“Kundi should immediately resign from the post of divisional president of the party,” said Saeed Akhtar, a local PPP leader, while addressing the crowds. “The Supreme Court should take notice of Kundi’s corruption,” he added.
