Housing Scheme: Pakistan Post to improve its services

Work was underway on the housing scheme for the employees of the Postal Services Department.

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Postal Services Sardar Muhammad Umar said that work was underway on the housing scheme for the employees of the Postal Services Department. Talking to representatives of the National Organisation of Postal Employees (NOPE), he added that to improve the services of Pakistan Post, about 3,000 motorcycles would be distributed among postmen. He said that the organisation was computerising its services to facilitate customers. Earlier, NOPE representatives met the Postal Services Secretary Raja Ikram-ul-Haq and the newly elected Pakistan Post Director General Syed Panjtan Rizvi. They congratulated Rizvi and claimed that under his leadership, Pakistan Post would further improve its services.
