Uninformed Absence: 14 policemen suspended

Taking serious notice, the judge them directed the Tandlianwala deputy superintendent to register cases against them.

FAISALABAD: As many as 14 policemen were booked over prolonged uninformed absence from work. Additional Sessions Judge Mian Bashir Ahmad conducted a surprise visit at Tandlianwala tehsil court and checked the daily roster of the police officials. He found Sub Inspector Abdul Ghafoor, Assistant Sub Inspector Iqbal, Constables Qasim, Riaz, Abdul Khaliq, Abdul Qayyum, Abad Ali, Zafarullah, Rab Nawaz, Shahid Abbas, Mukhtar Ahmad, Shaukat Ali, Zahoor Husain and Zulfiqar had been absent from duty without informing their seniors. Taking serious notice, the judge them directed the Tandlianwala deputy superintendent to register cases against them.
