ISLAMABAD:

After covering a journey of 2,600 kilometres in ten days, a four-member team of Pakistan Motorbike Travellers Association reached Islamabad from Karachi via Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.

The team was greeted by Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Managing Director Mir Shah Jahan Khetran upon arrival. The journey, which aims to spread education among orphans, will also help increase sports and adventure activities in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Khetran said the PTDC’s tourist centre is providing information on low-priced accommodation and tourism packages in northern areas, which will boost tourism in the area.
