Goodwill Envoy: ‘Reducing poverty is a top goal’

ISLAMABAD: Poverty reduction is one of the foremost goals among Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the present democratic government of PPP has made a number of economic and social interventions in the country towards this end. Honorary goodwill ambassador for women Empowerment, Fiza Batool Gilani, expressed these views while talking to officials of Planning Commission and Benazir Income Support Program during a briefing session in Islamabad.
