Target Killers: CIA finds a torture cell and nabs two target killers

The men arrested belonged to a notorious drug peddling group, Ashok, who deal in locally manufactured liquor, drugs.

The Criminal Investigation Agency (CIA) claimed to have found a torture cell and nabbed two men allegedly involved in target killings after an encounter.


The CIA raided an area in Chanesar Goth in Mehmoodabad late Friday night. According to the CIA AIG Gul Hameed Sammo, the suspects resisted and opened fire and two were arrested after an encounter.

On information given by the arrested men during interrogation, the CIA raided an empty house with three rooms, also in Chanesar Goth, which was being used as a torture cell. A chopper and knives were also found from the house.

The CIA officials said that the men belong to the notorious drug peddling group, Ashok, who are known to be the major stakeholder of locally manufactured liquor and drugs. They were also allegedly involved in the murder of at least 10 people, including the president of Pasban South, SM Iqbal.
