Explosion: Gas pipeline blown up in Sui

QUETTA: An explosive device blew up an 8-inch diametre gas pipeline in Sui’s Bugti tribal territory. The device was attached to the pipeline that supplies gas from well number 43 to the Sui purification plant.

Supply of gas to the plant was heavily disrupted as a result. A heavy contingent of security forces and officials rushed to the spot and sealed off the crime scene. Repairs to the damaged pipeline have been initiated.
