LAHORE:

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has issued orders for suspension from service of former Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore chairman, the controller of examinations and other officials responsible for delay in announcement of intermediate results and directed disciplinary action against them.

He issued these orders on the recommendation of a committee headed by the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team chairman in which these officers were held responsible for the delay in the results. The Lahore Board chairman had recently returned to the Education Department after completing his tenure as chairman.

Sharif issued these orders while presiding over a meeting regarding the determination of causes and persons responsible for delay in the results.

The chief minister said that those who created problems for students and their parents deserved no leniency.
