First look of Sarmad Khoosat's 'Zindagi Tamasha' revealed

The film will have its premiere at Busan Film Festival next month

Film-maker and actor Sarmad Khoosat's upcoming venture Zindagi Tamasha finally has a poster.

The first look of the film was unveiled on Khoosat's production banner, Khoosat films. In the poster, we see an aged man with a tasbeeh. Zindagi Tamasha essentially refers to 'the circle of life.'

This is not the official poster of the film that is yet to have its premiere at the Busan Film Festival. The event, held annually in Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea, is scheduled to commence on October 3 and run until October 12, 2019.

The director's debut film Manto earned significant appreciation and gained critical as well as commercial acclaim worldwide. While Sarmad’s latest outing  Zindagi Tamasha has been cleared by the central and provincial censor boards, its official release date has not been announced.

The news of Zindagi Tamasha being screened at Busan Film Fstvial was also shared by Khoosat's production banner.

"We heard through the grapevine that our next film is a part of the official selection for the Busan International Film Festival. It’s true!" the caption read.

The film stars Arif Hassan, Samiya Mumtaz, Ali Kureishi and Eman Suleman. Sarmad will also make a special appearance on screen and majority of the film is shot in Punjabi.

Other than Zindagi Tamasha, Khoosat will also be helming Saba Qamar-starrer, Kamli. The film is slated to release next year as well.
