Probe ordered in NATO tankers incident

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Commissioner Amir Ahmed Ali said on Wednesday that an inquiry of the attack on NATO forces tankers at tarnol area in Islamabad has been ordered.

Talking to the media Ali said that assistant commissioner Farasat Ali Khan has been appointed as an Inquiry officer and he has been directed to complete his inquiry by tomorrow.

Seven people were killed and five were injured after unidentified gunmen set more than 50 Nato containers on fire near Tarnol in Rawalpindi on Tuesday night. Police arrested 26 suspects in an extensive search operation, while Interior Minister Rehman Malik ordered a report to be prepared within three days.
