KARACHI: The tyre of a plane carrying Interior Minister Rehman Malik burst during landing at the Lahore airport on Sunday. Minister for Minorities Shahbaz Bhatti was also travelling with Malik.
A Civil Aviation Authority spokesman told APP all the people on board remained unhurt as the pilot controlled the plane. Malik has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
Meanwhile Minister Rehman Malik’s brother Khalid Malik escaped a kidnapping attempt on Friday night. Khalid was attacked when he left the Minister’s Enclave in Islamabad, to return home. He was rescued by nearby police stationed on a picket but the gang, reportedly following him in a black land cruiser, escaped.
Khalid Malik later made a statement at the secretariat police station stating he was the target of an attempted kidnapping. Meanwhile police have registered an abduction case and an investigation is underway.

As for as the news is concerned according to which an attempt was made to kidnap the brother of interior minister is highly considerable shouldn’t disregard it.
The whole scenario invite us all including religious clerics put it a side all differences and deal with spreading insurgency with strong head and unique unity.
