Donald Trump took power as the 45th president of the United States on Friday and pledged to end ‘American carnage’ of social and economic woes. After taking on this crucial responsibility, Trump also took on the responsibility of a new Snapchat account.

The new president took to Snapchat to share two videos of his drive en route to the inauguration ceremony from the White House.

Trump credits social media with election win

While his opponents used every social media platform they could find during the presidential race, Trump stuck primarily to Twitter, using the social networking site to post statements and call out media companies.

Trump presidential campaign however purchased a nationwide custom Snapchat filter for the first presidential debate.

Trump’s Snapchat account has been verified and also features a special emoji next to his name.

While most presidential candidates and politicians opt for the American flag, Trump account has a flying money sign common among business people.
