It was back in September when tech giant Apple showcased its latest flagship handset known as the iPhone 7. As rumours suggested, Apple released the iPhone 7 in five colours, including the new and impressive ‘Jet Black’.

However, it seems there may also be a new ‘Jet White’ option.

Japanese news outlet Mac Otakara has reported that ‘Jet White’ will be available on both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus handsets. However, it fails to mention the release date of the ‘Jet White’ model.

Here's everything you need to know about iPhone 7

Mac Otakara’s track record in terms of reliable Apple rumours has been quite credible previously. However, the publication has stated that its source on the ‘Jet White’ rumour is not as credible as the previous ones were.

If the rumour turns out to be true, it could be due to Apple’s struggle to get traction with customers on the Jet Black iPhone 7 handsets as the phone surface is vulnerable to scratches. Apple has officially gone on record on its official website to inform customers that the latest glossy colour is more prone to scratches as opposed to the alternative matte aluminium colours.
