KARACHI: The 9th International Defence Exhibition and Seminar 2016 (IDEAS-2016) will attract a large number of exhibitors, defence delegations and visitors from across the globe, said Defence Export Promotion Organization (DEPO) Director General Major General Agha Masood Akram HI(M). “We expect this event will prove to be of immense value in creating a favourable environment for the defence industry of Pakistan,” said the official while addressing the 3rd and final Steering Committee meeting. The meeting was held to review the preparations being made for the smooth conduct of IDEAS 2016, scheduled from November 22 to 25 this year. He informed the house that a large number of foreign companies are set to participate and delegates including senior armed forces officials, bureaucrats and defence strategists from various countries.
