Resolutions passed: Balochistan PA slams Modi, Altaf

The house unanimously adopted the resolution and vowed to stand united against all external ‘peace spoilers’

QUETTA: The Balochistan Assembly has unanimously condemned MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan vitriolic and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement on Balochistan.

Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti tabled a resolution in the provincial assembly against Altaf which was unanimously passed. “Altaf Hussain has hurt the feelings of the people of Pakistan and provoked his supporters to attack media houses that are tantamount of sedition,” Bugti said while tabling the resolution.

Zehri blames ‘external forces’ for Balochistan unrest

“Pakistani will live forever and by sitting abroad no one can stoke unrest in the country,” he added. “Altaf Hussain has proved that he is a terrorist who fuelled terrorism in Karachi.”

The resolution against Modi’s statement was moved by PML-N legislator Muhammad Lehri. Rehmat Saleh Baloch from the National Party said Balochistan was not an orphan province and did not need any external support to secure its rights. “The people of Balochistan have spurned Modi’s sympathies and proved that we are pro-Pakistan.”

Kamaal | 7 years ago | Reply Isnt it the same zehri whose brother, son, family were all blown up a couple of years ago by freedom fighters in his own province zehri? and he barely escaped and still moves in armoured cavalcades and speaks from behind bulletproof glasses?
