LAHORE: A petition has been filed in Lahore High Court (LHC) for putting the names of three Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders on the exit control list (ECL). Petitioner Barrister Ali Gillani submitted that Farooq Sattar, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Khwaja Izharul Hassan had endorsed anti-Pakistan statements made recently by party chief Altaf Hussain. He said they were guilty of sedition for not openly disapproving anti-state sentiments of their London-based leader. He said they might flee the country to avoid action against the MQM. He requested the court to order that their names be put on the ECL.
