RAWALPINDI: Water accumulation on various roads as a result of the downpour on Wednesday has irked citizens of Rawalpindi.

The continual spell of rain has caused immense problems for motorists as well as raising doubts over the performance of the officials responsible for the upkeep of the city

With areas of Rawalpindi inundated with water in areas including Arya Mohalla, Rata Amral, Javid Colony, Pirwadhai, Dhok Saidain, Multani Mohalla, and Pindora Chongi owing to the blockage of sewerage lines.

Residents of F-block criticised the authorities, as the accumulation of rainwater at several points on roads was amplified by their dilapidated condition.
