Mysterious death: Greek national found dead in hotel room

The police found the body of a Greek national who died under mysterious circumstances.

KARACHI: The police found the body of a Greek national who died under mysterious circumstances in his hotel room near the Karachi airport on Wednesday.

The police said that 50-year-old Mr Imeridis had arrived in the city on Tuesday and was staying in room No. 140 of the Ramada hotel.

SHO Abdul Ghaffar Korai quoted the hotel management as saying that he had a head injury after he slipped in the hotel pool. He was provided first-aid treatment in a room and later a staffer found him dead in the morning. His body was moved to Jinnah hospital where doctors reserved his post-mortem report.

sam | 13 years ago | Reply He was not killed. SHO Abdul Ghaffar Korai was paid off to lie to the media which he did and was suspended a day later. The man died from a natural cause.
