The uber-chic and sophisticated woman behind the brand Body Focus Museum breaks down her personal style for us. Here she shares the styling rules she always abides by

Understanding your body is the key to looking good and a trait found amongst all impeccably dressed fashionistas. While people shy away from talking about their bodies, these brave souls explain how they work their bodies to their advantage

How would you describe your body type?

I’d like to consider myself as someone who is reasonably thin.

Has your body type changed over the last five years?

Yes it has. I was thinner before.

How has your style changed over the years?

It has become a lot simpler. I feel my fashion choices are now more understated and to the point!

In your opinion what is your most troublesome area?

I’d say I am like sugar in a teapot — it all settles down at the bottom.

How do you dress your body according to your body type?

I never wear clothes that are either too loose or too fitted. Having said that, I believe that silhouettes must be well defined and/or balanced.

In your opinion what is the biggest mistake a person can make while dressing here?

I think wearing too much of everything and that too, not in good taste!

What silhouettes suit your body the most?

I’d like to think, as all women do, that everything suits me.

What is the one piece of clothing that you shy away from wearing and why?

I have a more modest approach to dressing — I definitely shy away from options that are too risqué.
