One piece three ways with Sublime

While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways

While trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. In this feature we have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designers collection, according to their own individual style and taste!

This cropped floral jacket is from the Sublime by Sara Exhale Collection 2016 – one of the only two floral pieces in the entire collection of solid pastels. “This was originally a structured jacket worn with a feminine tutu. I love the floral element for summer and these ladies have done a fabulous job redefining the look of the jacket,” the designer states.

My style is delicate, so I went for an all-white outfit with this floral jacket. I opted for a pair of white ripped jeans and a white tank top. Then, to give my ensemble some edge, I wore the jacket back to front. My body structure is petite which made the jacket look fabulous, not vulgar, backwards. I added a pop of colour with my emerald green Manolo Blahnik heels and my matching box clutch. I would wear this look to a night out.

I would describe my personal style as being smart-casual. I wore the jacket with my boyfriend ripped jeans and a white crop top. I wanted to go for a grunge look and the jacket was quite formal, so I toned down the formal element by wearing my classic white Converse sneakers. I would wear this outfit to a lunch or morning event because I think the colours are perfect for the day.

I would say my personal style is glamorous. I wore this super-fun printed jacket with a straight black skirt with slits on both sides and a cropped tube-top. I feel it’s the perfect outfit for a winter night out! The jacket looked very different with the skirt, and added more edge to the regular skirt and top look. I paired my outfit with Zara cutwork shoes, and went for a classic deep red lipstick.
