Target killers: 4 men sent into judicial custody till Feb 3

Magistrate directs investigating officer to submit charge sheet at the next hearing.

KARACHI: Judicial Magistrate East Zabeeha Khattak remanded four alleged target killers into judicial custody till February 3 and directed the investigating officer to submit a charge sheet at the next hearing.

The accused — Mudassir alias Chief alias Langra, Atif, Murtaza alias Murtu and Shahab — were produced before the judicial magistrate on Saturday.

They were arrested by Pakistan Rangers from the Super Highway as they were allegedly fleeing to Hyderabad and were handed over to Gulistan-e-Jauhar Police.

According to the remand papers, the accused are involved in the murder cases of Ghani Khan and Saleem Khan alias Danger in Pehlwan Goth Malir.

Mudassir and his slain brother are also accused of being involved in the narcotics business in Pehlwan Goth.

After hearing the investigation officer, the judicial magistrate passed the orders and sent the four accused into judicial custody.
