The former Karachi mayor and leader of the fledgling Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) made the announcement during a news conference on Wednesday in Karachi.

Referring to the country's current education standards, Kamal said, "Karachi used to be Pakistan's most literate city, but now it's graph has dropped to 43."
The citizens will have to speak up and stand up for their rights if they want education standards to be improve," he added.
