Voicing reservations: PCS officials to hold symbolic strike

The strike will be observed till Monday. If their demands are not met, a complete pen-down strike will be held

PESHAWAR: Officers of the Provincial Civil Services (PCS) have announced their decision to hold a symbolic strike throughout the province and the tribal belt. The decision was taken during a meeting of PCS Officers Association held at Civil Secretariat on Monday. PCS officials throughout K-P and Fata will wear black wrist bands to observe a symbolic strike from 10am to 12pm. The strike will be observed till Monday. If their demands are not met, a complete pen-down strike will be held. The association also demanded an immediate end to all forms of administrative discrimination, especially regarding promotions and postings. It added the differences between Provincial Management Services and Pakistan Administrative Services officials should be resolved.
