Illegal: SI in hot waters for taking bribe
Sargodha ACE Asmatullah Niazi registered a case against Ahmed on the recommendation of investigation officers
SARGODHA:
The Khushab Anti-Corruption Circle has registered a case against a police sub-inspector accused of corruption. ACE officials told media people on Thursday that Advocate Malik Ali Shan had submitted an application to the ACE director accusing former Jhal Chakian SHO SI Mushtaq Ahmed and another official of taking a Rs50,000 bribe to release his brother Ali Haider, who was in prison in connection with a case. “But they did not release him.” Sargodha ACE Asmatullah Niazi registered a case against Ahmed on the recommendation of investigation officers.
