Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali will be performing in India once again -- this time at a cultural event in Gujarat, organised by a trust run by religious leader Morari Bapu, reported Indian Express.

The four day event will feature performances by other musicians as well. Ghulam Ali and nine other famous personalities will receive awards by Shree Chitrakutdham Trust, a close aide of Morari Bapu and event organiser Harishchandra Joshi shared.

Earlier, Ghulam Ali had been forced to cancel his shows in Mumbai and Pune because of threats from Shiv Sena. Following that a number of Indian parties extended invitations to the 75-year-old to perform in India.

The event will be held in Bhavnagar district from March 19 to 22.
