BAHAWALPUR:
A woman allegedly attacked her husband with acid on Sunday. She had earlier accused him of being unfaithful, police said. Doctors treating the man said he had received severe burn injuries to his face and 15 per cent of his body was also burned. Police said Rukhsana Bibi, a resident of Marout, Bahawalnagar district, had become furious when she found out that her husband Zubair had multiple affairs and was planning to marry another woman. Police said she had attacked him with acid. He was taken to Bahawal Victoria Hospital for treatment. Marout police said they had registered a case against Rukhsana Bibi and had arrested her.
