Nabbed: CTD arrests alleged militant

BANNU: An alleged militant was arrested in Bannu by the counter-terrorism department (CTD) on Thursday. According to a handout issued by the department, three kilogrammes of explosives were recovered from his possession. “The arrest was made on a tip-off received by CTD officials,” read the document. “They raided a house in Kaski Akhwandan village and arrested Sadaqatullah.” According to the handout, Sadaqatullah hails from Badhaber area of Peshawar and was wanted by law-enforcement agencies in a number of terrorism cases. He has now been shifted from Bannu to Peshawar for further interrogation.
