Unidentified armed men on a motorcycle opened fire in Pishin

QUETTA: A soldier of Balochistan Levies was killed and three others wounded on Tuesday in an attack on a check post in the Surkhab area of Pishin.

According to a Levies official, unidentified armed men riding a motorcycle opened fire on their check post, resulting in one soldier's death, while three others sustained injuries.

The deceased and the injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital, Pishin.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack.

Earlier on Saturday, a Frontier Corps officer was killed while three others along with a minor received injuries when a bomb exploded near security check post at Quetta’s Joint Road.
