272nd Anniversary: Bhitai’s Urs celebrations start from Nov 29
The district administration has imposed fee on people visiting the museum
HYDERABAD:
The 272nd urs of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai will commence from November 29 in Bhit Shah in Matiari district. Hundreds and thousands of devotees are expected to visit the small town located along National Highway during the three-day urs celebrations. Shows including musical nights, cultural village, literary and sughar [folk sages] conferences, agro industrial expo, cattle show, horse race and traditional wrestling, will also be held. Round-the-clock playing of Shah jo raag at the shrine will also entertain the visitors. A meeting, chaired by the culture secretary Dr Niaz Hussain Abbassi, was informed that 2,400 policemen and an unspecified number of Rangers will be deployed for security. The district administration has imposed fee on people visiting the museum, park and for using car parking.
