LG election: Steps being taken to sabotage our campaign: MQM

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) believes that steps are being taken to sabotage the political party’s election campaign. Condemning the arrests of MQM members, party leader Dr Farooq Sattar addressed a press conference on Wednesday. Over 100 workers have been arrested in the past two to three days, he said, adding that candidates contesting the upcoming elections are also among those arrested. Sattar alleged that MQM banners across the city were being torn down, which he called a form of rigging by their rivals.
