The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) is holding the Rabi Festival 2015 from November 23 to 27.
On November 23, Kissan conventions will be held at all departments to increase interaction between farmers and researchers. The final ceremony of Kissan convention will be held at Iqbal Auditorium at 3:00 pm.
On November 24, a business-plan competition will be arranged in which students of 50 universities from across the country will participate.
On November 24, Governor Rafique Rajwana will preside over the main ceremony held to start the festival.
On November 26, an international conference on opportunities and challenges in dairy industry will be organised by the Faculty of Food, Nutrition and Home Science. French Ambassador to Pakistan Martine Dorance will chair the event.
On November 27, a seminar will be arranged on the PM’s Kissan Package. Agriculture Minister Farrukh Javed and Law Minister Rana Sanaullah will be the chief guests.
