Radio Pakistan DG also announced a 50 per cent raise in salaries

MULTAN: Radio Pakistan is going to launch a mobile phone application for easy access to its transmission, said Radio Pakistan Director General Imran Gardezi on his visit to the new studios in Multan on Saturday. He said transmissions from all Radio Pakistan stations were being restructured along modern lines.  “We are introducing the application to make Radio Pakistan accessible to android phone users,” he said. Gardezi said a new transmitter would become functional in December. He also supervised the installation of a digital transmitter in the studios. He directed that drama and documentary festivals be organised in Multan. He also announced a 50 per cent raise in salaries.
